Lava in particular is a source of natural pigments, due to the presence of iron and other minerals that can be ground into fine powders. The color of these pigments can range from reddish brown to black.
Yellow onyx is a naturally occurring stone with a yellow-toned background, often featuring dark veins, and is typically found in regions with volcanic activity.
